At New Order, run by Min Guhong, collectives form naturally. It’s because after parting ways with New Order, there remains a desperate need for companions to keep the conversation going. One such group is After New Order, made up of Yoon Chunggeun, Lee Sohyun, and Lee Jisoo.
It started off as more of a social gathering, but everything changed when Min Guhong, who was working at Workroom at the time, casually suggested they consider applying for Project Hashtag: 2021 at the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art. One night, “After New Order” reached out to Min Guhong for help. They had countless ideas but couldn’t come up with the right project title to hold them together. Min Guhong stepped outside, pretending to smoke, and secretly asked Min Guhong Manufacturing for help. When he came back in, he said just one thing: “What’s happening?”
